Job summary

MultiCare Cancer Institute, a physician-led oncology network in Washington, seeks a Staff RN to administer chemotherapy and radiation treatments within a patient-centered team. You will join a supportive environment where nurses participate in clinical decision-making and professional development.

Required RN license in WA, BLS, and 2+ years acute care; BSN or higher preferred. Sign-on bonus for qualifying external applicants, with a comprehensive benefits package and a day shift schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or obtained within five years from hire date.
• Current Registered Nurse license in Washington State or MLS.
• Current BLS certification.
• Two years experience in acute care setting preferred.
• RN with 15+ years of service or internal candidates hired before Jan 1, 2021 may be considered in satisfaction of this requirement.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis.
• Deliver nursing care using the nursing process per hospital policies and protocols.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care, patient experience and cost reduction.
• Foster a learning environment for patients, families, nursing staff and health care team.
• Advocate for ethical and holistic care respecting diverse backgrounds.
