Job summary

MultiCare Health System is seeking a Staff RN to join our hospital-based team in Spokane, WA. This role utilizes specialized training and a multidisciplinary approach to nursing care, with an emphasis on professional development and shared decision making.

You will work 7P-7A, with weekdays and rotating weekends/holidays; a Deaconess Hospital setting supports a comprehensive care environment and mission-driven culture, including generous PTO and supportive programs.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS).
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current BLS Certification required.
• ACLS or NALS or PALS or TNCC or NRP certification, as required by facility or department.
• Certification in specialty area preferred.
• One (1) year of experience in acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis.
• Utilize the nursing education and experience to deliver care using the nursing process per hospital policies/procedures.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care, patient experience and cost reduction.
• Foster a learning environment for patients/families and staff.
• Advocate for ethical and holistic care respecting diverse backgrounds.
