Job summary

Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is seeking an Oncology Registered Nurse to assess, educate, coordinate care, and administer therapy for oncology/hematology patients. You will take part in infusion therapy, manage symptoms, and provide essential support to patients and families.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Massachusetts or New Hampshire (where appropriate).
• BSN strongly preferred; associates must pursue BSN within 4 years.
• Oncology Nurse Residency Program (ONRP) or 1 year RN experience preferred.
• Professional nursing certification (OCN, BMTCN, CPHON, AOCNP, CRNI, RN-BC) preferred; BLS required.
• AHA ACLS acceptable as minimum.

Responsibilities

• Assess and plan nursing care for oncology/hematology patients.
• Administer chemotherapy and infusions; monitor and manage adverse effects.
• Educate patients and families; provide psychosocial support.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team; contribute to charge capture/billing.
• Support clinical research principles and practices within the team.
