Job summary

Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide expert, evidence-based nursing care in a busy infusion/oncology setting. The role emphasizes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for a complex patient population, with emphasis on education and psychosocial support.

The Staff Nurse will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team across the Institute and affiliated hospitals, maintaining safety, documentation, and adherence to licensure and policy.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree in Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Licensure: Registered Nurse in MA or NH; BLS required.
• Experience: 1 year ambulatory/oncology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers expert, evidence-based nursing care to patients and families.
• Performs pre and post procedural nursing activities and medications administration.
• Maintains patient safety and adheres to regulatory standards.
• Educates patients and families about treatment options and side effects.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team to coordinate care.
