Job summary

INTEGRIS Health is seeking a day-shift RN Coordinator for the INTEGRIS Cancer Institute in Oklahoma City, OK. This role centers on coordinating oncology patient care and treatment plans to ensure quality outcomes.

You will collect data, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the care team across inpatient and outpatient settings. RN licensure in Oklahoma and BLS are required; Oncology Nursing Society Certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Five years of clinical experience.
• Three years of Critical Care LPN or Paramedic experience may substitute for RN experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing may substitute for two years of RN experience.
• RN licensure in Oklahoma or current multi-state license (eNLC).
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Oncology Nursing Society Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collects and evaluates data including history and physical examination, lab data, diagnostic studies, and consultations.
• Coordinates treatment plans for oncology patients and families, including chemotherapy and/or radiation treatments.
• Monitors, evaluates, and reports laboratory tests and identifies complications and interventions.
• Provides education related to disease process and discharge education to patient and family.
• Coordinates continued care in home, outpatient, or inpatient settings.
• Assists with nursing and physician-related research activities, including data gathering and analysis.
• Works with Business Office to coordinate financial aspects of patient care.
• Coordinates with infusion therapy and radiation oncology for treatment plans and scheduling.
