• Provides appropriate care specific to the age of the customer/patient and ensures understanding and comfort with treatment.
• Performs an initial and ongoing assessment to determine patient needs.
• Develops and revises the plan of care to address nursing needs for optimum outcomes.
• Collaborates with providers and other clinical disciplines as appropriate.
• Provides teaching to patients and families about their treatment options and prevention guidelines.
