Job summary

Qualifications

• Current RN license in MO or a compact state.
• BLS certification required by American Heart Association.
• Oncology Nursing Certification (OCN) preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate oncology/hematology treatment plans per protocols.
• Screen and verify assessments and test results to prep for appointments.
• Maintain medication and treatment summaries with dose verifications.
• Assist with examinations and procedures, ensuring sterile instruments.
• Counsel patients and families on oncology/hematology care and prevention.
• Coordinate care with specialty pharmacies and supportive services.
• Maintain oncology education and assist with investigational protocol docs.
