Job summary

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing; NY RN license and registration required
- Minimum 2 years Medical Oncology Nursing Experience
- ONS Chemotherapy-Biotherapy Provider Card required
- BLS and ACLS certification required (American Heart Association)
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects/patients; HIPAA aware; strong communication and organization
Responsibilities
- Provide and coordinate care of patients/families in ambulatory care setting; educate patients and families
- Perform chemo, therapeutic treatments and phlebotomies
- Administer medications (oral/IM/IV/SQ/inhaled) and manage patient flow
- Coordinate inpatient admissions and ER referrals; ensure patient safety and infection control
