Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN) is required.
• New York State RN license is required.
• 1.5 years of nursing experience is required.
• Medical Oncology experience preferred.
• Ambulatory care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work within a Nurse–Physician/APP based Ambulatory Care Practice Model.
• Provide clinical support to staff members and manage a caseload of Medical Oncology patients.
• Perform triage for patients face-to-face and via telephone, including symptom evaluation and care recommendations.
• Conduct patient assessments, provide education to patients and families, and deliver evidence-based symptom management.
• Act as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care throughout treatment and follow-up.
