Qualifications

• Master's from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program.
• Current NYS Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse licensure.
• ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy certificate required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
• Requires appointment to Medical Center Allied Health Personnel Staff.

Responsibilities

• Assess health status through comprehensive examinations.
• Initiate orders for diagnostic procedures and prescribe medications.
• Educate patients on health promotion and disease management.
• Consult with physicians as needed.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and document findings.

Skills

Master's from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program

Current NYS Nurse Practitioner licensure

Certification for ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy

BLS and ACLS certification

Previous progressive experience in clinical practice

Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
