Jefferson Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the 3W Oncology Unit in Center City, Philadelphia. This full-time role emphasizes patient- and family-centered care, developing individualized nursing plans, and coordinating care with care partners to meet cultural and personal preferences.

The RN will apply the nursing process, participate in education, and contribute to safety and quality initiatives while providing compassionate, evidence-based care in a fast-paced oncology

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma from an accredited nursing program is required.
• Cultural awareness and patient-centered practice knowledge.
• Effective communication and collaboration with patients and families are essential.
• Ability to document health information accurately and timely.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• AHA-related knowledge and RN licensure in Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with patients, families, and staff to ensure high-quality care.
• Applies evidence-based practice and nursing protocols to patient care.
• Educates patients and their families about conditions, treatments, and discharge plans.
• Monitors and improves care outcomes using data and quality methods.
• Collaborates with inter-professional teams for safe, compassionate care.
• Participates in safety and quality improvement committees.
