Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the MMH 6 unit to deliver individualized quality nursing care to cancer patients and families, following hospital guidelines and the ANA code of ethics. The role involves collaboration within an interdisciplinary team and adherence to the nursing process for timely documentation and patient education.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of inpatient Medical-Surgical nursing experience, RN licensure in Florida, and BLS.

Qualifications

1 year of inpatient hospital experience as a registered nurse.
Medical Surgery experience as a registered nurse.

Responsibilities

Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, and evaluate the care of cancer patients and families.
Integrates patient and family centered care and the quality caring factors into practice.
Identifies, documents, and provides patient education based on learning needs of the patient.
Participates in evidence-based improvement activities related to area of practice.
Participates in professional development based on nursing professional standards and regulatory requirements.
