Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL seeks a Registered Nurse for the MMH 6 unit to provide post-op cancer care. This contract/temporary role spans a minimum of 13 weeks with extension possible, offering $65.00 per hour with no benefits.

You will apply the nursing process to plan, deliver and evaluate care for patients and families in a high‑acuity interdisciplinary team. Ideal candidates have inpatient Medical-Surgical experience, a BSN (or an ASN with experience), and FL RN licensure with BLS,

Qualifications

• 1 year of inpatient hospital experience in Medical-Surgical care.
• RN licensure in FL (or multi-state with FL primary residence) and current BLS.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required; ASN with experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, and evaluate care for cancer patients and families.
• Delivers individualized quality nursing care following hospital guidelines and ethics.
• Engages in discharge planning, patient education, and collaboration with interdisciplinary team.
