Job summary

University of Oklahoma seeks an Oncology Research Registered Nurse (RN) to partner with physicians, researchers, and patients at the Stephenson Cancer Center. This role supports clinical trials and cancer research while delivering compassionate nursing care in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires an Associate degree in Nursing, Oklahoma RN certification, and BLS/CPR credentials, with travel as needed and a schedule Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
• State of Oklahoma RN Certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care and act as patient advocate.
• Support and manage data collection for clinical trials and research.
• Educate patients and coordinate care across teams.
• Demonstrate leadership and collaborate with physicians, researchers and staff.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:

• Associate'sDegree in Nursing.

Required Certifications and Licenses:

• State of Oklahoma Registered Nurse Certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or an equivalent nationally recognized provider
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
