Job summary

The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking a part-time Clinical Nurse (20 hours/week) to support complex cancer trials in a fast-paced, research-focused environment. The role requires a nursing degree, current Texas RN licensure, and at least two years of clinical nursing experience, with oncology or research background preferred.

Compensation ranges from $32.69/hour to $68.51/hour, with potential benefits and a comprehensive benefits package available for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• RN license current in Texas.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required.
• Preferred: oncology, research, med-surg or cardiac nursing experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred; graduation from an accredited nursing program required.

Responsibilities

• Administer and monitor cancer therapies and infusions.
• Deliver protocol treatments and standard therapies safely.
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and side effects.
• Monitor for adverse reactions and manage safety protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians and research teams to ensure protocol compliance.
