Job summary

Texas Oncology is seeking a Full-time Clinical Research Nurse (RN) to join our Central Austin team. The role supports oncology clinical trials with no weekends, call, or major holidays. Opportunities exist at Level 1, 2, or Sr based on experience.

The position offers a path to LTIP and tuition support with a strong emphasis on patient care and trial integrity within a community oncology setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).
• Current licensure as a registered nurse in state of practice (Texas).
• Current ACLS or BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required.
• OCN certification strongly preferred.
• CCRC or CCRP certification preferred.
• Oncology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with physicians to identify and screen potential patients for clinical trial participation.
• Present trial concepts and details to oncology patients while conducting the informed consent process.
• Assess patients for adverse events and/or changes in condition.
• Provide staff and patient education regarding the management and administration of investigational product.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation and data entry to meet trial requirements.
• Serve as a liaison between clinic departments to ensure proper trial conduct.
