Job summary

The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking a Clinical Nurse for Outpatient Ambulatory Treatment Center in Houston to administer and monitor systemic cancer therapies for adult patients. The role collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care and appropriate resource use.

Required: RN licensure in Texas, CPR/BLS, and infusions experience; OCN/Chemo-Biotherapy certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• RN with Texas license required.
• Infusion experience with chemotherapy preferred.
• OCN or Chemo/Biotherapy certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer and monitor systemic cancer therapies and infusions.
• Assess and educate patients and family/caregivers to ensure future care needs are met.
• Develop collaborative relationships with physicians and health care team; perform other duties as assigned.
