Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a field-based professional to educate healthcare providers on patient support programs and reimbursement processes within the oncology/hematology-oncology space. The role requires strong knowledge of payer policies, coverage, and claims submission, with demonstrated territory management skills.

Responsibilities include collaboration with internal stakeholders, maintaining provider relationships, and staying current on reimbursement dynamics across A, B, C and D Medicare

Qualifications

• Experience in oncology access and reimbursement programs.
• Strong understanding of payer policy, coverage, coding, billing.
• Excellent territory/account management skills.
• Ability to obtain HCIR credentialing and maintain compliance with credentialing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Educate HCPs on patient support programs, access and reimbursement tools.
• Educate on product-specific acquisition and access options such as specialty networks and white-bagging support.
• Provide local expertise on payer policies to educate providers on payer issues and claims processes.
• Collaborate with Oncology stakeholders for key account management.
• Report payer trends to Patient Services and MHC account teams.
• Establish and maintain relationships with providers within the territory.
• Stay current on managed care, reimbursement and policy activities.
