Job summary

AdventHealth Denver is seeking a licensed Registered Nurse to deliver compassionate, evidence-based patient care in a high-volume acute setting. You will assess patients, develop and adjust care plans, administer meds, educate families, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safety and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• RN license required and CPR/BLS certified.
• Associate degree in nursing required; BSN preferred.
• 1+ year acute care hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
• Create and adjust individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care.
• Administer medications per orders and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care.
• Collaborate with care teams to coordinate patient care and ensure effective communication.
• Document care activities and outcomes in the medical record.
• Ensure infection control, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication to patients and families.
• Supervise and delegate care to clinical staff as needed.
• Engage in performance improvement activities to enhance care quality.
