Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Greenwich, CT. The RN will evaluate, plan, implement and document nursing care for oncology patients in hospitals and outpatient centers.

The position offers competitive weekly pay of $2,344 and benefits including health coverage and a 401(k). Ideal candidates hold an active RN license, oncology experience, CPR (if applicable) and can meet all regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state practicing
• One (1) year of experience in oncology nursing preferred
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

The Oncology Registered Nurse evaluates, plans, implementsand documents nursing care for the oncology patient population. The OncologyRegistered Nurse works in hospitals and outpatient care centers where patientsreceive cancer treatments. In hospitalsettings, the Oncology Registered Nurse assists with surgery prep, patienteducation and coordination of their cancer treatments. In outpatient care center settings, theOncology Registered Nurse typically helps with treatments such as chemotherapyand infusions while monitoring patients’ vitals, side effects, and pain.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current RN license in state practicing

• One (1) year of experience in oncology nursing preferred

• Current CPR if applicable

• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
