Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Greenwich, CT. The RN will evaluate, plan, implement and document nursing care for oncology patients in hospitals and outpatient centers.

The position offers competitive weekly pay of $2,344 and benefits including health coverage and a 401(k). Ideal candidates hold an active RN license, oncology experience, CPR (if applicable) and can meet all regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state practicing
• One (1) year of experience in oncology nursing preferred
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• The Oncology Registered Nurse evaluates, plans, implements and documents nursing care for the oncology patient population.
• The Oncology Registered Nurse works in hospitals and outpatient care centers where patients receive cancer treatments.
• In hospital settings, the Oncology Registered Nurse assists with surgery prep, patient education and coordination of their cancer treatments.
