Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks an Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) for travel assignments in Boston, MA. The role provides specialized oncology care in hospitals and outpatient centers, coordinating cancer treatments and educating patients.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license; oncology experience and OCN certification are preferred. This 40-hour/week travel position offers competitive weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, plans, implements and documents nursing care for the oncology patient population under the direction of the physician.

The Oncology Registered Nurse evaluates, plans, implementsand documents nursing care for the oncology patient population under thedirection of the physician. The Oncology Registered Nurse works in hospitalsand outpatient care centers where patients receive cancer treatments. In hospital settings, the Oncology RegisteredNurse assists with surgery prep, patient education and coordination of theircancer treatments. In outpatient carecenter settings, the Oncology Registered Nurse typically helps with treatmentssuch as chemotherapy and infusions while monitoring patients’ vitals, sideeffects, and pain.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current RN license in state practicing
