Job summary

American Oncology Network, Inc. is seeking a registered nurse to join our oncology team at Zangmeister Cancer Center.

You will provide safe, accurate patient care including assessment, review of labs and vital signs, dose verification, and administration of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and biotherapy. The role requires an unencumbered RN license, CPR/BLS, and experience with hematology/oncology patients in clinic or hospital settings.

Qualifications

• Must have an unencumbered RN license in the state of employment or multi-state license.
• Current CPR and BLS certifications.
• Experience with hematology/oncology patients in a clinic or hospital setting.
• Fluency in English with excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care including assessment, review of labs and vital signs, dose verification, and drug administration.
• Triage patient needs and communicate with multidisciplinary team.
• Document treatment in EMR accurately and timely.
• Educate patients and caregivers on medications and treatment plans.
• Assist with inventory and restocking of medical supplies and attend mandatory trainings.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and participate in ongoing staff meetings.
