Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program required.
• Current RN license in Missouri or Compact Licensure required.
• American Heart Association BLS.
• ACLS.
• NIHSS.

Responsibilities

• Follows hospital policy on patient safety, infection prevention, safe patient handling and movement, and central line care.
• Provides nursing care including administration of medications and patient/family education.
• Performs initial and ongoing assessments to monitor patient status and inform care.
• Documents all care activities to support quality measures and clinical decision making.
• Communicates patient information to physicians and team members to improve outcomes and support teamwork.
