Qualifications

• ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider Card within 3 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Incorporates assessment and intervention skills in all nursing interactions and delivery of care.
• Performs assessment, intervention, evaluation, and equipment management.
• Communicates clearly with patients, team members, and management; documents accurately and timely.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient and colleagues; uses computer charting/ordering appropriately.
• Applies critical thinking and prioritizes multitask workload to manage multiple patient assignments.
• Develops and maintains therapeutic relationships; supports patient and family teaching.
• Promotes teamwork and coordinates care within a multidisciplinary team.
• Provides health promotion-focused teaching and counseling to patients and families.
