Job summary

Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover, NH is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our oncology-focused team. You will provide safe, evidence-based nursing care, monitor patient status, and administer medications.

You will collaborate with physicians, plan and evaluate care, maintain accurate records, and ensure high-quality patient outcomes. 3 years of clinical nursing experience and NH RN licensure are required; BLS required, ACLS/NRP/PALS preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Oncology experience is preferred.
• 3 years of clinical nursing experience required.
• RN license required in state.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and detailed reports and records.
• Administer medications to patients and monitor for reactions.
• Record patients’ medical information and vital signs.
• Monitor, document, and report symptoms or changes in patients’ conditions.
• Coordinate with healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans.
• Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by responses.
