Job Summary

The Oncology Radiopharmaceutical Sr. MSL plays a vital role within Global Medical Affairs by communicating scientific, clinical, and technical information to the medical community. The role involves developing relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and serving as an expert in therapeutics and radiopharmaceuticals. Ideal candidates will live near an international airport.

The MSL must possess deep expertise in oncology, radiopharmaceuticals, medical imaging trends, and clinical trials, continuously updating their knowledge through training and resources.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions
  1. Identify, develop, and maintain long-term collaborations with Key Opinion Leaders in the assigned territory.
  2. Effectively communicate scientific data to internal and external audiences, adjusting presentations to the audience's level of understanding and adhering to company policies, laws, and ethical standards.
  3. Respond appropriately to scientific inquiries, providing accurate and approved data for products and developmental compounds, in compliance with policies and regulations.
  4. Share clinical and technical information promptly with relevant internal teams.
  5. Leverage advanced expertise to understand diagnostic imaging patterns, treatment guidelines, therapeutic advances, and patient needs in oncology.
  6. Identify potential speakers for promotional and training events.
  7. Provide constructive feedback to speakers to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  8. Comply with pharmacovigilance SOPs regarding adverse events.
  9. Identify investigators for sponsored trials following approved procedures.
  10. Adhere to all relevant compliance and regulatory standards, including the US 'Compliance Code of Conduct,' GCP, HIPAA, and FDA laws.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • PhD, PharmD, or MD required.
  • Preferably 4+ years of experience as an MSL.
  • At least 2 years of clinical experience in oncology, urology, or radiopharmaceuticals/medical imaging.
  • Strong understanding of oncology, radiopharmaceuticals, and imaging trends.
  • Ability to translate scientific data into high-quality medical information.
  • Leadership skills and effective communication abilities.
  • Motivated with a record of growth and achievement.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to change.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Other Requirements
  • Knowledge of oncology and radiopharmaceuticals, including key publications.
  • Understanding of clinical trial design and pharmacoeconomics.
  • Advanced knowledge of the US healthcare system and medical imaging industry.
  • Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 70%; residence near a major airport preferred.
