Ironwood Cancer & Research Centers is seeking a Radiation Therapist to join our oncology team at multiple Phoenix Valley sites. The role involves administering prescribed radiation therapy, educating patients, and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.

The ideal candidate holds ARRT certification, has 1–2+ years of experience, and is proficient with EMR systems and Microsoft Office.

Qualifikationen

• ARRT Certification is required.
• 1–2+ years of radiation therapy experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures.
• Experience with EMR systems and basic Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel between clinic locations.
• Strong patient care and communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Administer radiation therapy as prescribed by the oncologist.
• Educate patients on procedures, side effects, and care expectations.
• Monitor patient condition and report changes to the care team.
• Perform simulations and create immobilization devices.
• Operate radiation therapy equipment (Elekta experience preferred).
• Conduct daily QA checks on equipment.
• Maintain accurate treatment documentation.
• Support new technology implementation and student training.
