Ironwood Cancer & Research Centers is seeking a Medical Assistant for our Scottsdale/Phoenix locations. The role involves preparing exam rooms, patient rooming, and managing EMR while supporting a team focused on oncology care.

Ideal candidates have CMA/RMA certification and 1–2 years of MA experience in a fast-paced setting, with strong communication and customer service skills. Some travel to other Ironwood locations is required; join a supportive clinical team dedicated to patient care.

Formación

• Certified Medical Assistant with current certification or eligible within 90 days
• 1–2 years MA experience in a fast-paced setting
• EMR experience and computer proficiency a plus
• Strong communication, organizational and customer service skills
• Compassionate, team-oriented and adaptable mindset
• Positive, professional attitude with a team-first approach and oncology focus

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and sanitize exam rooms before and between patients
• Room patients and record vital signs and assessments
• Manage patient charts and electronic medical records (EMR)
• Handle phone calls, referrals, and patient result notifications
• Set up orders for transfusions, hospital admissions, phlebotomy, and more
• Monitor prescription folders and assist with drug replacement programs
• Coordinate special testing and physician requests
