Job description

SSM Health is seeking a full-time BC/BE Radiation Oncologist to join us as the primary physician leading the department in Jefferson City, MO. The ideal candidate must possess a strong sense of teamwork and excellent communication skills, and have experience with IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, SRS, and 3D CRT.

Highlights:

1. Expect to see 2-3 consults per week, 2-3 follow-up visits per week, and treat approximately 10 patients per day.
2. The Radiation Oncology department includes two radiation therapists and a nursing team, with comprehensive support from the SSM Health Radiation Oncology team of physicists, dosimetrists, therapists, and RNs.
3. In-house referrals from oncology, OBGYN, and urology are already in place to support this practice.
4. Equipment includes Varian True Beam, GE Discovery CT Simulator, Eclipse Treatment Planning System, RadCalc, and ARIA/Epic Electronic Health Record.
5. Excellent onboarding process.
6. Fully integrated system with clinic and hospital on Epic EMR to enhance care coordination.
7. Two-year guaranteed salary with wRVU productivity and comprehensive benefits.
8. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
9. No call required.
10. Not-for-profit system qualifies for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF).
