Hematologist/Oncologist opportunity in Osage Beach, MO

Located in Lake Ozarks, MO; 75 miles from Columbia, MO; 170 miles from St. Louis, MO. The health system serves a population of approximately 90,000 within a 25-mile radius.

About the Opportunity:

• Seeking a full-time BC/BE Hematology/Oncology Physician as the group continues to expand in its thriving rural community.
• Full-time, permanent, employed position
• Strong, independent, non-profit hospital
• The hospital is a Level II Stroke Center, Level III trauma center, and Level II Nursery with a 100-bed acute care and 16-bed skilled nursing community hospital. It offers comprehensive diagnostic services, radiation therapy, a full-service sleep lab, medical/surgical care, and a 24-hour cardiovascular surgery department.
• Radiation Oncology services include: Varian Linear Accelerator with 3D, IMRT, and SBRT treatment capabilities.

Practice Details:

• Approximately 450 new cancer cases per year
• Robust Oncology program with a 5% growth rate annually over the last decade
• Call schedule: one week on, one week off, with significant flexibility
• Support staff includes: primary nurse per physician, multiple front office staff, billing and coding experts, tumor registrar, and six chemotherapy/biotherapy RNs
