- Other Details: The facility which is stroke-certified and trauma level 2 is looking for a provider to cover on-site clinical hours and beeper call if needed. There are an average of 15 visits/ave.25 on Tx. The facility is seeking locum coverage for a busy Radiation Oncology practice following the retirement of a long-term physician. This two-physician practice requires 3-day-per-week coverage (0.6 FTE), ideally worked in a stretch to complement the remaining Radiation Oncologist. The schedule includes a 50/50 hospital consultation call split, with clinic overlap on Wednesdays for chart rounds. Each day involves clinic visits (including OTVs) and an average of 25 patients treated on the TrueBeam. The clinic is supported by skilled Radiation Therapists, RNs, full-time on-site dosimetry with a pay-per-plan model, and hybrid physics with on-site presence every other week and remote availability otherwise. On-site CT simulation is available, and the practice is integrated within the hospital campus, with access to CT, PET, and MRI. As an ACS Commission on Cancer certified Cancer Center, weekly multidisciplinary tumor boards are held on Thursdays, and locum providers are encouraged to participate. The Radiation Oncology team shares space with Medical Oncology and Infusion Therapy, enabling seamless, collaborative patient care.
