Job description

Locum Radiology-Oncology Need in Duluth, MN

We are seeking locum coverage for a busy Radiation Oncology practice due to the retirement of a long-term physician. This is a two-physician practice, and we are looking for coverage of 3 days a week (0.6 FTE), generally in a stretch to complement our remaining Radiation Oncologist. The schedule typically involves a 50/50 call split for hospital consultations. Physicians usually overlap in clinic on Wednesdays for chart rounds with the Radiation Oncology team.

• Hourly Rate: $300 ($50 more than competitors)
• Start Date: August 1, 2025
• End Date: January 31, 2026
• Average Visits: 15 per day, with approximately 25 patients on treatment daily
• Privileges: Temp privileges available
• Trauma Level: Level 2
• Coverage: Scheduled outpatient and inpatient
• Nearest Airport: DLH
• Credentialing: 60-90 days
• EMR: Epic/Aria

Our facility features on-site dosimetry, a team of skilled Radiation Therapists and RNs, as well as hybrid physics support with physicists on-site bi-weekly. We have on-site CT simulation, and are part of a hospital campus with access to CT, PET, and MRI. We are an ACS Commission on Cancer certified center, conducting multidisciplinary tumor boards weekly, and welcome participation from locum colleagues.
