Job summary

An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Radiation Oncologist to provide full-time coverage in a dynamic clinical setting. This role requires board certification and an active IA license, ensuring compliance with state regulations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in various radiation therapies, including IMRT and SBRT, and familiarity with Aria EMR. You'll be responsible for managing a steady patient load, conducting treatment visits, and ensuring high-quality patient care. Qualifications

• Must be board certified and have an active IA license or IMLC.
• Experience with Aria documentation is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Job description

Shift Type: Days
Shift Description: 8 AM to 4:30 PM with 30 minutes for lunch - 8 hours per day
• Board Certified - REQUIRED
• Active IA license or IMLC - REQUIRED (not accepting candidates who need to obtain IMLC or IA license)
• Must be able to start ASAP upon credentialing - REQUIRED (Facility can offer temp privs which is approx. 30-60 days)
• MUST be available to offer coverage for 4 week stretches at a time - REQUIRED (notate at time of name clear)
• Aria documentation - HIGHLY PREFFERED. Note experience at time of name clear.

Schedule:
• No call
• Schedule Requirements: Facility is looking for FULL TIME coverage only. Provider must be available to work 4 week stretches at a time. Provider can take some time off in between 4 week stretches, but cannot take time off within the 4-week block

• Number of Physicians in Practice: 1
• Will There be Other Radiation Oncologists Present During Locum Tenens Coverage? No
• Average Number of Patients Per Day - OUTPATIENT (Clinic/Office): 20-25 on treatment with weekly treatment visits, follow-ups and consults
• Average Number of Patients Per Day - INPATIENT (Call/Rounding): 0-1
• Trauma Level 2
