Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient treatment for 20-25 patients daily.
• Perform required procedures including IMRT and SBRT.

Job description

Coverage Needed:

• As soon as credentialed - ongoing
• Schedule: 8 AM to 4:30 PM with 30 minutes for lunch - 8 hours per day
• Full time coverage only

Clinical Details:

• Number of Physicians in Practice: 1
• Average Number of Patients Per Day - Outpatient: 20-25 on treatment with weekly treatment visits, follow-ups, and consults
• Average Number of Patients Per Day - Inpatient: 0-1
• Trauma Level: 2
• Patient Type: Adult
• EMR: Aria
• Required Procedures:
  • Conventional Radiotherapy
  • 3D Radiotherapy
  • External Beam Radiation - IMRT
  • External Beam Radiation - IGRT
  • External Beam Radiation - 3D-CRT
  • Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT)
  • Stereotactic Radiosurgery
  • Photon Beam Radiation Therapy
  • Fractionated Stereotactic Radiotherapy

Requirements:

• Board Certified
• Active Iowa license or IMLC
  • not accepting candidates who need to obtain IMLC or IA license
• COVID Vaccine
• Must be able to start ASAP upon credentialing
• Available for 4-week stretches at a time
  • can take some time off in between 4 week stretches, but cannot take time off within the 4-week block
• Aria documentation experience - Highly Preferred
• Local/within driving distance - Highly Preferred
