Ashfield MedComms, part of Inizio Medical, is seeking a senior level director to lead the scientific team in Oncology publication work and oversee strategic accounts. This client-facing role requires directing client strategy, mentoring staff, and guiding scientific teams across content creation, in collaboration with VPs of scientific and client services and the managing director in business development.

Qualifications

• PhD/PharmD/MD with 10+ years of relevant medical communications experience, deeply knowledgeable in oncology publication work.
• Track record of scientific leadership across multiple clients and therapeutic areas.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the scientific team delivering strategic publication content.
• Direct client strategy, mentor staff, and coordinate with VPs of scientific and client services.
• Develop publication work and drive business development with managing directors.
• Identify strategic recommendations aligned with client strategy and market needs.
• Foster collaboration across Ashfield to position the agency as a leader in publications.
