Job summary

Bayer is seeking a Prostate Sales Consultant for oncology in the Houston Medical Center area. You will drive clinical demand, educate oncologists and other HCPs, and lead sales activities within hospitals and treatment centers in the Houston territory.

The role requires strong clinical knowledge, strategic account management, and the ability to travel up to 50% within the territory. A related oncology or biotech background is preferred, with emphasis on building long-term relationships and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 10 years of relevant experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
• Relevant specialty pharmaceutical sales, biotech sales, or medical sales experience.
• Some specialty pharmaceutical sales experience in Oncology.
• Experience with selling a product in combination with a companion diagnostic.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate competency of product clinical efficacy and articulate a strong value proposition for the customer.
• Learn and retain in-depth clinical knowledge of tumor types to educate healthcare professionals on Bayer medications.
• Build relationships with key accounts and address their needs and priorities.
• Influence accounts by tailoring messaging to customer goals and market dynamics.
• Aim to achieve sales targets by identifying growth opportunities and adjusting strategy as needed.
• Review sales data and adjust strategy based on trends and insights.
