Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Clinical/Medical Scientist in Oncology (Prostate) to partner with Medical Directors and external experts in developing medical plans and reviewing data. The role focuses on medical data reviews, safety assessments, and preparing summaries for study teams, with accountability for timelines and deliverables in a collaborative, regulated environment.

Responsibilities

Works with Medical Director to develop medical plans and coordinate input from outside experts.
Performs regular and ad-hoc medical review of data listings and visualizations to identify risks and trends.
Authorises medical data queries, reviews responses, and approves query closure with Medical Director.
May assist with patient profiles review, protocol deviation review, and Medical Review Summary as needed.
Partners with Medical Directors for data review meetings and safety review meetings, including slide prep.
Manages project scope, timelines and deliverables; acts as interface between internal team, customers and vendors.
Collaborates with Clinical Operations, Data Management, Drug Safety, PV and Project Management to identify data risks.
Attends Trusted Process meetings and may participate in audits; gains understanding of protocols and disease terminology.
