Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Medical Data Reviewer to support medical data reviews and planning in collaboration with Medical Directors. You will analyze listings and data visualizations, identify risks, and help prepare medical review materials for study teams.

The role involves coordinating with Clinical Operations, Data Management, Drug Safety and Project Management to ensure data integrity, timely deliverables, and adherence to ICH/GCP guidelines across multiple studies.

Responsibilities

• Works with Medical Director to develop medical plans and coordinates input from outside experts to prepare medical plans.
• Performs regular and ad-hoc medical data reviews, analyzes data for risks and trends, and documents reviews.
• Authors medical data queries, reviews responses, and closes queries with Medical Director.
• May assist with patient profiles review and protocol deviation reviews as needed.
• Collaborates with Medical Directors for data review meetings and safety reviews, including slide prep.
• Manages project scope, objectives and deliverables to meet milestones and timelines; interfaces with customers and vendors.
• Collaborates with Clinical Operations, Data Management, Drug Safety, Pharmacovigilance and Project Management to identify data integrity risks.
• Attends Trusted Process meetings and may participate in audits.
• Gains basic knowledge of ongoing protocol designs and disease terminology; adheres to ICH and GCPs and internal policies.
