Job summary

Syneos Health seeks a Clinical Scientist - Oncology to lead medical planning and data review activities in collaboration with Medical Directors. You will analyze data, prepare medical reviews, and support safety and protocol-related assessments across trials.

The role requires effective communication with internal teams and external experts, ensuring data integrity and compliance with ICH/GCP. A dynamic, fast-paced environment offers opportunities to influence therapeutic strategies globally.

Responsibilities

• Works with Medical Director to develop medical plans (Medical Management Plan, Medical Data Review Plan, and Eligibility Review Plan).
• Performs regular and ad-hoc medical reviews of data listings and visualizations; analyzes data to identify risks and trends.
• Authors medical data queries and reviews query responses, approves query closure in association with Medical Director.
• Assists Medical Director in patient profiles review, and scientific review of study data.
• Partners with Medical Directors for medical data review meetings and safety review meetings including slide preparation.
• Manages project scope, objectives and deliverables to meet milestones and timelines.
• Serves as primary interface between internal team, customers, and vendors in medical data and eligibility review.
• Collaborates with study team members to identify risks related to data integrity and subject safety; escalates concerns promptly.
• Attends Trusted Process meetings and may participate in audits.
• Acquires understanding of ongoing protocol designs and disease terminology.
• Adheres to data privacy guidelines, ICH, GCPs and enterprise SOPs and policies.
