Job summary

Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Washington seeks a dedicated coordinator to support accreditation programs, outreach and event planning, and collaboration with RN Navigators and Social Workers to enhance patient services.

You will liaise with American Cancer Society volunteers, be an engaged member of the care team, and contribute to Providence's mission of compassionate, patient-centered care across the organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years healthcare experience.
• Minimum 3 years customer service in a healthcare setting.
• Preferred: Associate's Degree in Business Administration.
• Experience in a non-profit organization with leadership background.
• Experience developing brochures and public information regarding services, funds procurement, data management, survey tool development, meeting agendas and meeting facilitation.

Responsibilities

• Support accreditation programs of the Cancer Center (e.g., Commission on Cancer, APEX).
• Assist outreach and event planning functions of the Cancer Center.
• Support RN Navigators and Social Worker in maintaining and developing support and screening services.
• Liaise with the American Cancer Society volunteers and Cancer Resource Center.
• Participate as a fully engaged member of the care team with commitment to service and compassion.
