Job summary

Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Washington is seeking a Healthcare Operations Coordinator to support accreditation programs, outreach, and care team collaboration.

The role assists RN Navigators and Social Workers, liaises with ACS and Cancer Resource Center volunteers, and helps maintain patient-centered services with a commitment to compassionate care. Candidates should have healthcare experience and strong customer service skills, with a preference for nonprofit leadership experience

Qualifications

• 2 years Healthcare experience.
• 3 years experience in customer service in a healthcare setting.
• Associate's Degree in Business Administration preferred.
• Experience working in a nonprofit organization with leadership background.
• Experience in development of brochures and public information regarding services, funds procurement, data management, survey tool development, meeting agendas and meeting facilitation.

Responsibilities

• Supports accreditation programs of the Cancer Center (e.g., Commission on Cancer, APEX).
• Supports outreach and event planning functions of the Cancer Center.
• Liaises with ACS and Cancer Resource Center volunteers.
• Serves as a care team member with commitment to compassionate care for Providence patients and families.
