Job summary

Providence Health & Services is seeking a Cancer Center Coordinator to assist in accrediting and improving the Cancer Center programs, outreach events, and patient support services. You will work with RN Navigators and Social Workers to develop screening services and act as a liaison to ACS and volunteers.

You will join a patient-focused team within Providence St. Mary Medical Center, contributing to compassionate care and coordination across oncology services, with on-site work at the Walla

Qualifications

• 2 years healthcare experience.
• 3 years experience in customer service in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Supports accreditation programs of the Cancer Center (e.g., Commission on Cancer, APEX).
• Supports outreach and event planning functions of the Cancer Center.
• Supports RN Navigators and Social Worker in maintaining and developing support and screening services for patients.
• Liaisons with the American Cancer Society (ACS) and Cancer Resource Center volunteers.
• Participates as a care team member with commitment to service and compassion for Providence patients and families.
