Palo Verde Cancer Specialists (PVCS) is seeking a detail-oriented Float Pharmacy Technician to support oncology operations across four Valley locations. The role requires travel among sites to provide coverage, focusing on accurate preparation and dispensing of oncology medications and maintaining safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate holds a current CPhT certification and is adaptable, dependable, and team-focused to support clinical teams in delivering high-quality cancer care.

Qualifications

• Current CPhT certification is required.
• Ability to understand and follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to medication safety.
• Ability to travel between four Valley locations as needed.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and compound oncology medications following procedures and aseptic technique.
• Receive and process medication orders from nursing staff, ensuring accuracy.
• Retrieve medications and prepare prescribed doses with proper labeling.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and order medications and supplies as needed.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance in all pharmacy areas.
• Travel between PVCS locations to provide coverage and support operations.
