Job summary

Palo Verde Hematology/Oncology, Ltd. seeks a detail-oriented Float Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy operations across four Valley locations. You will travel between sites to prepare and dispense oncology medications, ensuring accuracy and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification.
• Ability to understand and follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to medication accuracy and patient safety.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities, last-minute staffing needs, and varying workflows across multiple locations.
• Experience with sterile compounding or oncology medication preparation is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and compound medications in accordance with procedures and aseptic technique.
• Receive and process medication orders from nursing staff with accuracy.
• Retrieve medications from dispensing unit and prepare prescribed meds.
• Label medication bags and containers with patient name, medication, and strength.
• Travel between four valley locations to provide pharmacy coverage as needed.
• Maintain clean, safe mixing room and comply with safety regulations.
