Palo Verde Cancer Specialists (PVCS) is seeking a detail-oriented Float Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy operations across four Valley locations. This role requires travel between sites to provide coverage based on staffing needs and priorities, with a focus on accurate preparation and dispensing of oncology medications.

Qualifications

• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification required.
• Experience in a pharmacy setting preferred.
• Sterile compounding or oncology medication preparation experience desirable.
• Ability to travel between four valley locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and compound medications following procedures and aseptic technique.
• Process medication orders from nursing staff with accuracy.
• Retrieve medications from Nucleus and accurately prepare prescribed meds.
• Label bags, cassettes, and containers with patient name, drug, and strength.
• Follow safety protocols and pharmacy regulations in handling medications.
• Monitor inventory and order supplies for daily operations.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in the mixing room.
• Travel between PVCS locations to provide coverage as needed.
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff and nursing teams to ensure efficient operations.
