Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center, a leading cancer care institute in Florida, seeks a skilled Registered Pharmacy Technician to support order processing, compounding, and medication delivery for cancer patients.

The role requires a Florida-licensed RPhT with 2 years’ experience in unit dose, IV medications, REMS, and inventory management within a hospital or research setting. Travel to MAC locations may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Graduation from an accredited Pharmacy Technician program or equivalent licensure per Florida Statutes 465.014.
• 2 years as a Registered Pharmacy Technician with experience in unit dose, inventory systems, and sterile/investigational medication management.

Responsibilities

• Transcribe medication orders into the computerized medical record system per protocol.
• Fully process prescriptions and new orders for pharmacist review.
• Perform non-sterile and sterile compounding of both non-hazardous and hazardous medications.
• Deliver medications and ensure proper storage and stability; maintain QA and inventory records.
