Job summary

Shaw Cancer Center in Edwards, CO is seeking an Oncology Pharmacy Tech to support the on-site pharmacist and daily operations of the oncology pharmacy, including preparing therapies and managing inventory.

This full-time role requires one year of Pharmacy Technician experience and two years of sterile compounding, with Colorado PHAT certification; schedule is full-time, days. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

One year of Pharmacy Technician experience required.
Two years of sterile compounding experience required.
State of Colorado Pharmacy Technician Certification (PHAT) required.
HIPAA compliant and able to work in a clinical pharmacy environment.

Responsibilities

Accurately fill medication orders and replenish Pyxis MedStations.
Prepare IV admixtures or other sterile preparations per policy.
Order, receive, and rotate stock to maintain inventory levels.
Enter patient charges and credits daily; complete monthly inter-department billing.
Schedule technician personnel to cover required shifts monthly.
Adhere to USP standards and safety protocols; comply with regulatory requirements.
