Job summary

Oncology Pharm Tech Specialist MAC Float PRN at Moffitt Cancer Center seeks a registered pharmacy technician to perform delegated duties under a licensed pharmacist. Responsibilities include processing prescriptions, handling investigational and REMS meds, and coordinating with care teams.

Requirements: High School Diploma, RPhT, 2+ years in pharmacy settings with unit dose/inventory experience, and proficiency with EHR and pharmacy automation.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required and Pharmacy Technician registration.
2+ years as a Registered Pharmacy Technician with unit dose and inventory experience.
Experience with investigational or REMS medications and EHR systems.
Familiarity with sterile IV preparation and USP clean room practices is preferred.

Responsibilities

Initiate or receive communications to facilitate patient care and refill authorization reviews.
Assist in patient appointment reviews and medical records review per supervision.
Process prescriptions, including investigational medications under CFR and GCP guidelines.
Assist with compounding, preparation, and distribution of medications per policy.
Manage inventory, records, and reporting; travel to MAC locations as needed.
