Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center is hiring a Registered Pharmacy Technician to support medication processing, compounding, and distribution across multiple MAC locations. The role requires completion of an accredited technician program or equivalent licensure, and 2+ years of experience as a RPhT in hospital/pharmacy settings.

Responsibilities include transcription to EHR, order fulfillment, sterile compounding, IV preparation, and inventory management, with travel to MAC locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Be a Registered Pharmacy Technician.
• Two years as a Registered Pharmacy Technician with experience in unit dose, pharmacy orders and inventory systems.
• Experience with investigational or REMS medications and pharmacy automation software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process medication orders into computerized medical records.
• Fulfill medication orders with proper prioritization and labeling.
• Perform non-sterile and sterile compounding including hazardous/investigational meds.
• Prepare and deliver medications with proper storage.
• Conduct routine QA on medications, solutions and equipment.
• Manage medication inventory and stock levels.
